Coronavirus Precautions Update

Dear Parents

I am writing to update you on the precautionary steps the school is taking in light of the Coronavirus outbreak in Asia. The safety and security of our students, families and colleagues is our number one priority. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak based on the latest official information and guidance.

We are being informed by official sources that there is no immediate cause for concern, but we must remain vigilant in an ever-changing situation. We will continue to act following advice and instructions from national and global authorities.

You can visit the Qatar Ministry of Public Health website by clicking on this link for further guidance:

  • As general good hygiene practice, we will continue to enforce our already high standards of hygiene and encourage adults and children to sanitise their hands at key times of the day particularly before meal times, after visiting the toilet and after breaks. We have also further enhanced our cleaning and hygiene practices on all campuses. As you know our classrooms already have sanitiser dispensers installed, children and adults will be reminded to use them regularly.
  • As a precaution we are also asking for increased vigilance at home. If your child feels unwell or shows any flu like symptoms then please keep them at home. We will also be monitoring this on our campuses.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and any official communications and will update you if there are any changes to the advice currently given.

If you have any further questions, then please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Kind regards

Paul Holyome
