I moved to Doha in August 2016 to start working with Compass. I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and then moved to Innerleithen, a small village in the Scottish Borders. I then stayed in Glasgow whilst studying Psychology at the University of Glasgow. I then moved on to Dundee for my teaching qualification, working there and in Fife since qualifying.
I have taught in two different councils in Scotland and this has given me a broad range of experience. I have coached numerous netball teams whilst teaching and thoroughly enjoy extracurricular activities.
I would like to have a positive relationship not only with my class and parents but with my colleagues. I look forward to gaining further experience in a different setting, using a new curriculum.
Outside of school I enjoy socializing, singing, baking, visiting new places and playing netball and volleyball. I also have a pet dog called Hamish who has come over with me!
I also thoroughly enjoy travelling, having been to 13 states in the US and traveling extensively throughout Europe.
