Originally from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2007 and took up my first teaching job in England, working as a School Sports Coordinator. In 2011 I started teaching here in Qatar (in Dukhan) and I have spent the last few ars right here in Doha. My very enjoyable time here has enabled me to complete my Masters in Education with Bath University, as well as gain a wealth of experience working with children from different cultures and backgrounds.
The children, staff and parents have been so incredibly welcoming and friendly and I am very happy to be part of the Nord Anglia Education family.
In 2014, I married my wonderful husband, whom I met whilst working in Dukhan. We live in Doha with our 3 dogs: Royal (a cheeky Husky), Audi (a loving German Shepherd) and Lacey (a gorgeous Collie that we rescued from outside of the Gharaffa campus). Outside of school I particularly enjoy running recreationally, as well as playing netball in the local league at the Doha Rugby Club.
