Year 3/4 Bilingual Teacher and Global Campus Lead

I was born and raised in Manchester, England where I developed my love for teaching as I really enjoyed passing on something new I had learnt. I graduated in Hispanic and Latin American Studies at University of Liverpool in 2012 before completing my PGCE specialising in Spanish at Liverpool Hope University in 2014; since then I have been living and teaching in Qatar. I love immersing myself into new cultures and I was lucky enough to teach in Madrid and Sevilla in Spain which gave me a taste of dual language learning; making the move to the bilingual programme this year in Year 3 and Year 4 an ideal opportunity.

I have recently been appointed the Student Voice Leader for our group of schools, organizing the Student Council, Eco-Warriors and our new role of Prefects; watch our School Dojo for upcoming events! I’m a keen sportsman, huge Manchester City fan and love seeking new adventures! Throughout my teaching career I have always tried to be involved in school life as much as possible, whether it be coaching sports teams, organising school trips or leading after school clubs. I am enthusiastic, positive and wish to share my love of teaching.

“Enseñar es aprender dos veces” – Joseph Joubert: “Teaching is to learn twice” and I am a firm believer in this as I always strive to better myself in everything I do.

I thoroughly looking forward to another year at Rayaan and the Nord Anglia group, meet new people and form long lasting relationships with my students, parents and colleagues.
