Community is an important part of any school and at Compass, we pride ourselves on our strong community spirit. From the moment you meet our Admissions Team, to your child's first day at school and beyond, we ensure families feel welcomed, happy and safe in our school.
Parents, teachers and students work together in our school community to create a welcoming atmosphere. We also see ourselves as part of a larger community, stretching beyond the school grounds to all corners of the globe.
Our international school is focused on maintaining a strong sense of community, both locally and globally through Nord Anglia Education and our collaborations with The Juilliard School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and with UNICEF.
Our Student Community
We offer a truly international experience, with over 77 nationalities represented. We encourage awareness of cultures across the world through our International Week celebrations where we celebrate and learn about countries and cultures around the world.
This is supported by a curriculum which prepares students for opportunities anywhere they appear. Our community spirit and international-mindedness ensures your child will have a global network of friends helping them thrive in Doha today and in their future.
Parents are represented on the School Strategic Advisory Board, helping to maintain standards of education and care and share views from the parent community. Class Parents support teachers and arrange activities. We also have a very active Friends of Compass School (FCS) which parents are welcomed to be a part of. Find out more about our sense of community from a parent at our Rayyan campus here.
Our Doha Community
Having four school campuses around Doha makes us part of a wider community, allowing us to be involved in events to build links between our school family and our neighbours. We regularly participate in and host community events such as beach clean ups, recycling initiatives, charity collections and visits from local animal shelters.
Our Global Community
We are part of Nord Anglia Education, a group of 68 schools in 29 countries across the globe. Our links with schools from North America to the Far East give children a unique opportunity to collaborate with students across the globe via our Global Campus.
Through our collboration with UNICEF we reach out to the global community to build a better future.
