What Our Students Say

Our student testimonials speak volumes about life at NAS Dubai.

I love NAS Dubai because of the diversity and amazing sense of community and togetherness we share. Charlotte Rodsjo – Year 9

"What I most like about the school is the opportunity of cultivating and improving your passion, whatever that may be. As a music student, I have the privilege of being able to exhibit my skills at ‘busking’ on Thursday mornings before school, as well as regularly playing in front of a live audience during whole school during assemblies. In addition, our partnership with Dubai Opera means music and drama students get to see live plays. The collaboration with Juilliard is great because we are able to meet with Julliard students and teachers who specialize in the arts and can give us valuable tips and training during the various workshops that have been arranged within the school."

Flavio Somigliana – Year 11

I love this school because the lessons are exciting and fun. Although the work is fun it is also really challenging which I really enjoy. My favourite topic was The Natural World because we got to teach others about the impact of palm oil on the rainforest.      Mirin Connor - Year 6

"I have been given multiple opportunities to develop my passion for robotics and programming. For example, the Kalebr competition I participated in for the school. The aim of the competition was to create and program a robot that was able to play golf on a green.  I was in charge of programming the neural interface so the robot could tell where the ball and the hole were. I also participated in the MIT ‘Hack the Tube’ competition against the other Nord Anglia schools. The competition was based around creating a device that helped the world. My team and I decided to create a counterfeit money detector and we placed in the top 30 from over 100 entries worldwide."
