primary teacher helping year 3 students in maths class

Louise Casamassa

I was born in Hertfordshire and graduated from Roehampton University in 2003 with BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies.

I continued to study for my PGCE and became a qualified teacher in 2004. After teaching in the UK for three years I decided to combine my career with my love of travel and accepted my first international teaching position in an international school in Dubai in 2008.

My teaching career to date has provided me with many valuable experiences and I have gained so much enjoyment and satisfaction from my role as a primary educator. I have taught Early Years, KS1 and KS2 but I am particularly passionate about teaching the younger years. I love getting messy and enjoy creating fun and engaging learning environments for young children.

In my spare time I enjoy exploring and travelling to new places. I am a keen skier and love to hit the slopes with my friends and family during the school holidays.

I am thrilled to be working as part of a great team in the Primary School at NAS Dubai. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Year 1 and look forward to many exciting years at this thriving school.
