My name is Natasha Casey and I was born in Bolton and raised in the great city of Manchester. I have a BA (hons) in Music & Entertainment Industry Management from the University of Hertfordshire and a PGCE in Business Education from the Institute of Education at UCL.
I have been teaching in secondary schools in Hertfordshire for almost three years now and have taught on a variety of courses including BTEC Business, BTEC-TECH in Enterprise, GCSE Business Studies, A-Level Business Studies and Financial Studies. I have also taught KS3 Computer Science in which was a great experience for me. During my teaching career so far, I have held roles such as the Young Enterprise co-ordinator and Lead in Enterprise. In 2017, my Young Enterprise team won two regional awards and made it through to the national finals. I enjoy running enterprise extra-curricular activities, seeing students flourish whilst taking part in real world business activities.
My enthusiasm and background in sports and music have allowed me to share my belief of a hungry heart creates a healthy mind and in my spare time I enjoy running, cooking, swimming and martial arts.
I am committed to helping all students embrace opportunities; developing their ability to work together and thrive in a secure, caring and supportive environment. I am passionate about developing the independent learning of students and preparing them for the next stage and adventure in their lives. I believe that structure allows students to focus on developing their skills, which the GCSE and A-Level Business Studies courses foster. These courses allow the students to get a real life insight into the international business world and create the foundations to further expand their knowledge and develop the opportunity to progress.
I am very excited about joining the NAS Dubai family in August and I look forward to working within an outstanding school with many opportunities ahead.
