Staff Profile: Mr. T. Boast

Mr. T. Boast

Primary Class Teacher, 5D and Head of Year 5

Mr Boast has a BA (Hons) in Journalism and he has worked in education for over six years.

Over the last few years, I have been fortunate enough to work across key stage one and Key Stage 2 in the UK, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong. Throughout my career, I have led a variety of subjects notably P.E. and phonics and have enjoyed raising attainment across the whole school in these areas.

I have an enthusiastic approach to teaching and believe in making my classroom a fun environment where children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. I strongly believe that children achieve highly when they are fully engaged and motivated by their learning and I am excited to be joining a school that already promotes this ethos.

I have a wide range of hobbies and interests, notably sport, music and hiking and have recently joined a rugby team in Hong Kong. I am keen to immerse myself in new cultures and am currently trying to pick up a little Cantonese, although I would appreciate a little more help in this area!
