Ms. Z. Lo

Ms. Z. Lo

Mandarin Teacher

Ms Lo is an experienced Mandarin teacher recognized as a passionate, child-centered specialist continually striving to deliver happy, fun and heuristic Mandarin learning to the children. After 4 years teaching in an ESF kindergarten and elementary school, Ms. Lo has been with the Nord Anglia International Pre-School Sai Kung since it was established in 2017. She is a Mandarin native speaker originally from China. She holds a BEd(Hons) degree in Early Childhood Education, a MA degree in Early Childhood Education and a MEd degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language awarded by the Universities in Hong Kong.

Over the years at NAIS, Ms. Lo enriched the children’s Mandarin learning experience by applying pedagogy in creative and fun ways. She incorporated songs, stories, games and role play into teaching as well as made real-world connections with Mandarin learning. She changed the classroom into an imitated beauty salon and plane cabin, and directed the children to film the Snow White movie. She believes in providing a warm, caring and inspiring environment that will help the children to explore, think, speak and question as a results of reaching their fullest potential in Mandarin and nurturing them as a confident life-long learner.

Outside of teaching Ms. Lo enjoys reading, crafting, cooking and travelling.
