Miss Millington’s first teaching position was in the primary school in the UK in which she had trained, where she taught year two and later took on a leadership role as the Literacy Coordinator for Key Stage One. She was excited by the personal and professional development opportunities that come with teaching internationally, which led her to move to the Middle East in 2015. Miss Millington spent four years working at our fellow Nord Anglia school; The British International School Abu Dhabi, where she taught in both Key Stage One and Early Years. Ready for a new and exciting challenge, she moved to Hong Kong, joining the team at our Sai Kung Campus, where she is now Head of Nursery.
Miss Millington prides herself on having high expectations of all students and she is very passionate about taking a holistic approach in her teaching - building strong relationships with her students and creating a fun, happy, nurturing and supportive environment in which each of her students can thrive socially, emotionally and academically.
In her spare time, Miss Millington enjoys exploring Hong Kong’s beaches and hiking trails, reading and travelling. She loves learning about different cultures and languages and she is currently learning Cantonese.
