Mr. Scrivener graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching. He taught in New Zealand, England and Shanghai before moving to Hong Kong to join Nord Anglia International School in 2017. Mr. Scrivener is also the Head of Balmoral House.

Scott’s professional qualifications include an MSc (Management), BSc (Hons) Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry and a PGDE from the University of Glasgow. He is a senior Chemistry exam marker and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has over 10 years of teaching experience, working in the UK, Middle East and in South East Asia.

Mr. Kilgallon has been teaching for 13 years in Spain, the UK, Thailand and Hong Kong. He has been with Nord Anglia Education for 7 years. He has been a Head of Year, Acting Head of Department and is currently a Head of House. He has taught students from all over the world from Year 3 to Year 13 and has taught A Levels, GCSEs, IB and IGCSEs in Spanish. He received his degree in Spanish and Music from the University of Liverpool and his Modern Foreign Languages PGCE from John Moore’s University. He has a Masters degree in Leadership from Chester University.

Mrs. Reid began her teaching career in 2005 and she was teaching secondary mathematics at an academy in South-east England. During her time at this school she has mentored trainee teachers and she was Head of Statistics. She has taught Key Stage Three and Four, and has been a GCSE Mathematics examiner for the Edexcel examination board since 2007.

Mrs Brown trained at the University of Strathclyde where she completed an Honours Degree in Community Arts . She then completed her PGCE in Secondary Drama Education. Mrs Brown taught in Scotland for 10 years before moving to teach internationally. She taught across a range of year groups including Key Stage 3, National and Higher.
Secondary School Counsellor
Lucy has worked with adolescents and families extensively for the past 7 years. Prior to making Hong Kong her home, she lived in the UK, in Shanghai, and in Singapore and worked in the finance sector. Lucy began working with children through tutoring and mentorship and has enjoyed navigating through the unique challenges adolescents and their families face, from school-related anxiety and stress to family relationship dynamics.
