Mr. G. Ford

Mr. D. Penney

2E Class Teacher

Mr. Ford holds a BMus(Hons) from the University of Huddersfield and an MA in Music and Management from the University of Leeds. His passion for primary education was ignited whilst working as a peripatetic music teacher, resulting in him entering teacher training and gaining a PGCE from the University of Buckingham with Distinction. Prior to relocating to Hong Kong, Mr. Ford spent several years teaching in the London Borough of Havering; teaching a range of ages, with a specialism in Key Stage 1.

As a creative individual, Mr. Ford enjoys sparking enthusiasm through immersive and impactful teaching that sparks curiosity and develops a love of learning. He is an advocate of holistic education and endeavours to cater for each pupil’s unique learning style. Mr. Ford believes all pupils have to ability to achieve – it is his priority to equip them with the necessary tools to navigate them towards success.

Mr. Ford’s energy and enthusiasm echoes outside of the classroom. As an active musician, Mr Ford is grade 8 level in organ, piano and singing, he enjoys performing in and spectating concerts. Mr Ford also loves travelling, is a keen swimmer and a bit of a thrill-seeker (he loves theme parks!).
