2B Class Teacher

Miss Harris achieved a first class degree in Physical and Sport Education from St Mary’s University in Twickenham, London. Later, she furthered her studies by graduating with a PGCE in Primary Education and a postgraduate certificate in Special Educational Needs Coordination. She has taught a range of year groups within a visionary primary school in West London. Miss Harris has a wide skill set and has had many roles including Acting Head of PE, Primary Art Lead and KS1 Reading Lead.

Miss Harris is passionate about ensuring each child has the opportunity to achieve the highest level of education through an inclusive, warm and nurturing environment. She encourages pupils by inspiring them to believe in themselves and their abilities. During lockdown in the UK, Miss Harris taught the nation online through Oak National Academy and was recognised as a creative and innovative teacher making learning fun and exciting! Bringing learning to life with the influence of children's literature is one of Miss Harris’s favourite things.

 

During her free time, Miss Harris loves to run, read and spend time with her family and friends. She’s excited to join the Nord Anglia team!
