Head of Year 3 & 3D Class Teacher
After graduating from the University of Leicester with a BSc Hons in Psychology, Ms. Halmshaw worked as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. It was this experience that led her to embark on a career in teaching. After completing her PGCE, she worked for four years at an inner-city school in Bethnal Green, East London. This experience gave her the opportunity to teach many children from a range of diverse cultures and backgrounds. Ms. Halmshaw joined Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong in 2017 and became Head of Year 3 in 2018.

3F Class Teacher
Mr. Calderwood obtained his PGCE through the University of East London. His teaching experience started in Hong Kong as a NET (Native English Teacher), working with local schools for 2 years before joining Nord Anglia Hong Kong as an EAL Teacher and founding member of staff. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr. Calderwood completed his Bachelor of Science Degree at Rhodes University, South Africa, where is also obtained his Honours Degree in Ichthyology.
3E Class Teacher
After graduating from the University of Manchester with a BA Hons in Politics and Modern History, Ms. Curtis worked as a learning support assistant in a primary school in West London. This experience inspired her to begin a career in teaching. After completing a PGCE at St Mary’s University Twickenham, Ms. Curtis spent 3 years teaching at two different inner-city London Schools. This provided her with an opportunity to teach children from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures.
3B Class Teacher
Mr Lofman has a First-Class Honors degree in Primary Education from Leeds Beckett University. His passion and love for teaching started in his teens when he began coaching a youth basketball team.
3A Class Teacher & Global Campus Co-ordinator (Primary)
Miss Man completed a Law degree from the University of Birmingham before gaining a TEFL certificate. This enabled her to teach English as a second language to students in both London and Bangkok. Eventually she returned to the UK, studying for her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Greenwich. Since qualifying as a primary teacher, Miss Man has taught in London and then at the British International School of Chicago for four years. She then moved to Nord Anglia International School of Hong Kong, where she is a Year 3 teacher.
Primary Curriculum Lead & 3C Class Teacher
Miss Parker qualified as a teacher in 2008 after completing a four year teacher training course with a specialism in English, awarded by the University of Cumbria. In her previous school, she led English and was appointed Assistant Head Teacher. Since joining Nord Anglia four years ago, she has been Head of Years 5 and 6, led English across the school and is currently the Primary Curriculum Lead.
