Ms. E. Parker

E. Parker

Curriculum Subject Leader - Primary & 3C Class Teacher

Miss Parker qualified as a teacher in 2008 after completing a four year teacher training course with a specialism in English, awarded by the University of Cumbria. In her previous school, she led English and was appointed Assistant Head Teacher. Since joining Nord Anglia four years ago, she has been Head of Years 5 and 6, led English across the school and is currently Curriculum Development Leader for the Primary School.

Miss Parker wholeheartedly believes that when children are happy in their learning, they achieve great things. In her classroom, children are encouraged to take risks, to believe in themselves and to always try their very best. She provides engaging learning opportunities which challenge and promote enquiry. She believes that there is nothing better than hearing children sharing their ideas, questioning their own and others' opinions and listening to and learning from each other. She feels privileged to play a part in children’s development during their Primary School years.

Miss parker has thoroughly enjoyed the last four years in Hong Kong and looks forward to many more opportunities to travel and to explore this wonderful city!
