Mrs Dunn graduated from the University of Durham in 2009 and after several years working in various roles within education, returned to University to complete her PGCE in 2014. Since then, she has gained extensive experience teaching in Hong Kong international schools, working with students from Year 1 to Year 5.
Mrs Dunn prioritises student empowerment and agency. By building a strong class community, her students feel safe and comfortable being challenged in their learning, making mistakes and working together to support each other to succeed. She is interested in the cognitive science behind how children learn and enjoys reading and listening to podcasts to keep up to date with the latest education theories and practices.
Mrs Dunn is a proud mother of two NAIS children. She loves spending weekends being active; playing hockey with Valley RFC, hiking, kayaking and exploring Hong Kong with her family.
