Mr McArdle arrived to Nord Anglia in 2019, having spent the previous 7 years teaching in London. He has taught across a wide range of year groups and has lead Maths in Primary school. From Ireland, Fiachra graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Dublin City University, before completing his PGCE in the University of Cumbria. Now in his 4th year teaching Year 6, he brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Mr McArdle is extremely enthusiastic and positive when working with his students. He strongly believes that all children have the potential to achieve highly. He is passionate about providing children the opportunity to do this and takes great pride in the progress they make. With his humour and energy, the children in his class love coming to school every day!
Mr McArdle is an ex-professional footballer having played with Derby County in England and a host of Irish clubs. He has also represented Ireland at youth level. A keen sportsman, he still plays football regularly now in Hong Kong and a great deal of his spare time is spent playing and watching sport. Alongside sport, he enjoys exploring the trails, beaches and eateries in this fantastic city.
