Ms. K. Leech

6E Class Teacher

Ms Leech completed a degree in English Literature at the University of York and was then a participant on the Teach First programme, earning a PGCE through University College London whilst teaching KS2 in a disadvantaged area of West London, with a focus on developing vocabulary and comprehension skills across the school. Upon completion of the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, Ms Leech taught KS2 at a knowledge-baed school in West London, and took on the roll of Deputy Head of Mathematics across three primary schools.

Miss Leech is passionate about establishing an ambitious, engaged and collaborative classroom environment, where children capitalise on and value the knowledge and experiences of their peers as well as their own, whilst being able to agree with, build on and challenge their classmates' and teacher's points, and in doing so develop their ability to think critically.

Outside of school, Ms Leech enjoys reading, sport, theatre, trying new cuisines and and spending time with friends and family. She's very excited to immerse herself into life in Hong Kong and for the wealth of new experiences that are on offer.
