Ms. N. Shannon

ASN & EAL Teacher, Caernarfon C House Tutor

Having completed a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a PGCE in secondary mathematics, Miss Shannon started her career teaching mathematics in a secondary academy in England. She always had a keen interest in Additional Support Needs, and so obtained the SEND National Award at the University of Hertfordshire. Miss Shannon then worked in a Complex Needs school in Norwich for several years.

As a compassionate and enthusiastic teacher, she enjoys the process of making learning as interactive and varied as possible. She believes strongly in building the confidence of students, to support them in trying new things.

Miss Shannon grew up in Hong Kong, and attended secondary school here. She loves the positive atmosphere, love of learning and sense of community that schools can provide. She is very happy to be back and continue her teaching career in Hong Kong.

In her spare time, Miss Shannon loves visiting Disneyland, travelling, karaoke and kayaking. She also attends Cantonese lessons once a week and loves to enjoy bubble tea with her friends.
