English Teacher, Global Campus CAS Co-ordinator

Mr Robinson has an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Glasgow, a PGDE in Secondary English from Strathclyde University, a CELTA ESL qualification and most recently a Masters in International Education from King’s College London. Since he began his teaching career in the Scottish Highlands, he has lived and worked in secondary schools in rural Japan, inner-city Australia, Mainland China and as a founder teacher at Nord Anglia International Hong Kong for the past seven years. Mr Robinson is a highly experienced teacher of English Language, Literature, ESL and History at KS3, IGCSE and both A level and the International Baccalaureate.

For several years Mr Robinson pursued his enthusiasm for international mindedness as a Global Campus Leader. This included preparing and accompanying students to attend the high level political forum at the United Nations in New York and introducing Nord Anglia’s Global Library scheme which has engaged thousands of students across the globe in the best globally engaged books for young people. In his current position as CAS co-ordinator, he is dedicated to motivating young people to build independence, creativity and engagement with their local community.

He is happily married with two young children who also attend Lam Tin Campus. When he gets the chance, he loves hill walking and the outdoors, snowboarding, live music and travel. Reading is a particular passion with special interests in literary non-fiction, poetry and graphic novels.
