Miss Rankin holds a degree in American Literature and Culture studies from Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cumbria. She taught English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in both the UK and Sri Lanka before moving to Hong Kong to join Nord Anglia International School. Her teaching and management journey has taken her through middle leadership in both a pastoral and academic capacity, and she is now completing the NPQSL to keep up to date with the latest pedagogical research.
Miss Rankin is incredibly passionate about providing the highest quality education for every pupil and is always on the hunt for new and exciting ways to teach the curriculum. She believes in giving all pupils the tools to become high-achieving, well-rounded individuals, with a strong work ethic and belief in themselves. In order to achieve this, Miss. Rankin strives to ensure that both the pastoral and academic needs are met for each individual child.
Miss Rankin has made the move to Hong Kong with her husband and daughter, and enjoys exploring new countries, an outdoor lifestyle and making memories with her friends and family.
