Ms. S. Jones

Ms. S. Jones

Head of History, Caernarfon House Associate Tutor

Miss Jones has been teaching for 13 years in the UK, Thailand, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. She has been with Nord Anglia Education for 6 years working as a Head of History, Head of Psychology and Head of Year 11; she is currently the Head of History. She has taught students from all over the world from Year 7 to Year 13 and has taught History A Level, GCSE, IB and IGCSE and Psychology GCSE and A Level. She received her degree in History and Religious Studies from Lancaster University her PGCE from the University of Cumbria.

Miss Jones is passionate about her subject and works hard to impart her love of History into her lessons. She ensures her lessons are engaging and relevant so that all students can develop an enjoyment of learning about the past also. Miss Jones would hope that students enjoy attending her lessons due to her energetic and supportive approach to teaching.

Miss Jones has a huge passion for travelling and has been to many different parts of the world learning about other cultures. Her most recent adventure took her to India to visit her 6th of the 7 Wonders of the World. When she isn’t travelling, Miss Jones enjoys cooking, watching films, visiting museums and reading.
