Ms. M. Wang

Ms. M. Wang

Mandarin Teacher

Ms. Wang holds a master degree in Education from The University of Hong Kong and has also achieved her Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Education University of Hong Kong. She has over 5 years teaching experience in Mandarin at both International schools and local IB schools in Hong Kong.

Ms. Wang aims to cultivate the students to be life-long languages learners and believes that “Interest is the best teacher”, so she is passionate about motivating students’ interest and enthusiasm in Mandarin and Chinese culture. Her Mandarin lessons encompass creative classroom activities and variety of multimedia, which can effectively capture the students’ attention and make the learning fun for all. She always prompts the students to think outside the box, beyond a traditional textbook, encourages interaction and fosters collaborative learning among students. To her, Mandarin teaching and learning is more than a two dimensional spoon-feeding transmission, it is a three dimensional dynamic process.

Outside of class, Ms. Wang enjoys learning languages and cultures from different places, as well as reading and traveling. Besides English and Mandarin, she can also speak Japanese, Cantonese and some dialects. So she is happy to share her own languages learning experience with everyone.
