Mr. Kilgallon has been teaching for 13 years in Spain, the UK, Thailand and Hong Kong. He has been with Nord Anglia Education for 7 years. He has been a Head of Year, Acting Head of Department and is currently a Head of House. He has taught students from all over the world from Year 3 to Year 13 and has taught A Levels, GCSEs, IB and IGCSEs in Spanish. He received his degree in Spanish and Music from the University of Liverpool and his Modern Foreign Languages PGCE from John Moore’s University. He has a Masters degree in Leadership from Chester University.
Mr. Kilgallon is passionate about Teaching and Learning and always strives to ensure that the students he teaches enjoy his lessons. He believes that learning languages is key to creating an inquiring mind and the study of other cultures gives them a broader understanding of the World.
Mr. Kilgallon would like to think his students would say he was energetic, supportive, a good teacher, and above all a positive influence on them.
Mr. Kilgallon is a huge fan of all sports, especially football as he is from Liverpool, so he obviously supports Everton. He loves water-based and sky-based activities; such as bungee jumping, sky-diving, snorkeling and diving. He also loves music festivals and has been to many all over the World. Travelling and experiencing different cultures is his true passion.
