Mrs. E. Rickford

Modern Foreign Language Teacher, Sandringham B House Tutor

Ms Rickford is a graduate in English language and literature from the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. After finishing her degree, she undertook a PGCE at the University of Reading and worked in secondary schools in Berkshire and Hampshire until 2013.

In 2013, Ms Rickford moved with her family to China; she worked in Beijing at our sister Nord Anglia School in Shanghai where she was part of the IB team as a Higher Education Advisor and then Pastoral Coordinator.

Ms Rickford is passionate about the learning and well-being of the students in her care. She strives to ensure that students are the very best they can be and fosters a positive atmosphere in her classroom where students are challenged while supported in their learning.

In her free time, Mrs Rickford like to spend time outdoors with her friends and family. She is also currently studying for her Master’s degree in Counselling.
