Mr. E. Scrivener

Mr. E. Scrivener

P.E. Teacher, Head of Balmoral

Mr. Scrivener graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching. He taught in New Zealand, England and Shanghai before moving to Hong Kong to join Nord Anglia International School in 2017. Mr. Scrivener is also the Head of Balmoral House. 

Mr. Scrivener is an experienced educator and has taught children from EYFS right up to Year 13. His passion is sport: an area in which he has enjoyed many personal successes that have shaped his values around Physical Education.

He is passionate about the crucial role played by Physical Education in developing confidence and nurturing wellbeing in learners. His aim is to forge positive relationships with his students and foster an ethos of teamwork, good sportsmanship and positive social interaction.

Sport continues to play a pivotal role in Mr. Scrivener’s life outside of school. He enjoys playing cricket, hiking and participating in water sports such as wake surfing.
