Mr. Naylor holds a first-class degree in Drama from the University of the West of England. He completed his teacher training at the University of Reading and has taught Drama in secondary schools in the U.K, Japan and The Netherlands prior to moving to Hong Kong in August 2022. He has an interest in the development of pastoral landscapes in schools and has previously held positions of middle leadership as a Head of House, a Head of Year and Head of PSHE.
Mr Naylor is passionate about the development of arts education in schools and ensuring that every young person has an exposure to a broad, high-quality and personalised arts provision. He has a particular passion for directing and the study of theatre history. He is excited to contribute to the continuing growth and success of the performing and visual arts at NAISHK, which are already a flourishing part of the school’s community.
Having recently moved to Hong Kong, Mr Naylor is keen to explore the rich cultural delights the city has to offer and relish in the many artistic opportunities to grow his appreciation for the performing and visual arts.
