Mr. R. Sayce

Mr. R. Sayce

Music Teacher, Balmoral C House Tutor

Mr Sayce has a BMus Honours degree from Kingston University, London focussing on composition, musicology and education and a PGCE in Secondary Music from Birmingham City University. He has worked in a variety of educational and musical organisations across the Shropshire and the West Midlands before moving to Hong Kong to join NAISHK.

Mr Sayce firmly believes that every student is a capable performer and they need to be given the best conditions for them to flourish. He is passionate about giving students every opportunity to achieve highly in which ever musical discipline they wish, fostering their inherent creativity and encouraging students to be the best musician that they can be.

When not teaching, Mr Sayce enjoys exploring different cultures, foods and learning about history from across the world. He also uses the time when not teaching to hone his musical skills and endeavours to continue to improve.
