ICS Observes the 30th Anniversary of World Children’s Day

In Grades 5-12, author Anna Perera joined us from England to discuss her literary works. These include the acclaimed novels Guantanamo Boy and The Glass Collector. She was at ICS to tell our students about her incredible experiences writing stories about children around the world who have had their rights taken from them. Students also had the opportunity to have books signed by our guest author.

The Secondary Student Council had a key role in planning the day’s events, and they shared with us what this responsibility meant to them:
