Yolanda is a Colombian/Venezuelan citizen with vast experience in leading change through the infusion of digital technologies in various educational institutions in several countries.
She began her career in a Brazilian vocational institution as a software developer and continued in the Petroleum Industry as a Systems Engineer for over seven years. Her passion for education inspired her to pursue a second career. Prior to her position as Head of Technology and Innovation at Atlanta International School, Yolanda created and led TEB Innovation Time as well as successfully developed and implemented an ambitious e-Learning Plan at The English School in Bogotá. She was awarded Top IT Manager in 2012 and was selected by Apple to become one of the first Apple Distinguished Educators in Colombia.
