What places around the globe have a special meaning to you, and why?
Ireland, especially the north-west, as that's where half of my family are from. Apart from that it's incredibly beautiful. London, as I grew up there. It never seems to lose its charm for me as a great city. Brighton is where I studied to be a teacher. It is sometimes referred to as London-on-Sea and it deserves that reputation. A lively and beautiful place. The Pennine region is where I did my first degree. Based in Huddersfield, I was surrounded by many beautiful towns and villages which nestled in the hill. I have been lucky to visit New Zealand twice. Another stunning place of natural beauty. I also got to know a film producer and her team, there. A very useful experience for my acting.
