NAE Young Virtual Musicians Competition

Musicians, just because we are not all in schools at the moment doesn’t mean we are not still making music and getting better and better on our instrument. Whether you play the violin, drums or sing - if you're a musician, we would like to encourage you to select, prepare and enter a performance for the Nord Anglia Education Virtual Musician of the Year competition.

There are 4 main instrument categories and within these categories there are 3 age groups.

  • Wind and String instruments
  • Percussion
  • Voice
  • Piano

Each category will have three age ranges:

  • Ages 15-17 (max time limit 10 mins)
  • Ages 14-10 (max time limit 10 mins)
  • Ages 9-7 (max time limit 4 mins)

Performances need to be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and then link to your performance posted on the wall for your musical category. If under 13, you will need parent help / permission with this

Judges are comprised of Nord Anglia Music Teachers and professional musicans from Juilliard.

Places will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each musical category and year group.

Fore more information, visit the Global Campus.

All entries need to be uploaded onto the Global Campus by May 18th.
