Fun4Kids Summer Programme

Fun4Kids is a bilingual (Dutch-English) summer programme for children aged 4-12, held on our school campus. This fun and educational opportunity includes a wide range of activities and field trips based on weekly themes.

Enrolling Your Child

To enrol your child or children at Fun4Kids summer camp, please contact our camp co-ordinator, Anna Paas at fun4kids@aisr.nl or call 010-2189337. Parents may enrol children at any time throughout the spring and summer, starting from April 1st and ending 13th July.

A child's place a summer camp is only guaranteed once payment has been received.

Acceptance is based on space available. If the program is filled to capacity, a waiting list will be formed on a first come, first served basis.

The primary language at summer camp will be English, however, we employ both native Dutch and English carers who can communicate with the summer camp children in both languages.

Summer Camp Activities

Each week at summer camp will be filled with fun activities based around a weekly theme.

There will be daily themed arts & craft, cooking and sport activities. Previous camp activities have included tie-dying, cupcake and sushi making & papier-mâché.

Each week there will also be off-campus local excursions and on-campus workshops run by visiting organisations. Some examples are trips to the stables, forest and ice-cream shop as well as circus, science and exotic animal workshops.

Activities will be conducted as much as possible outside where weather permits, however the NAISR campus has a sizeable gymnasium which can be used in the case of bad weather.

Summer Camp Staff

All of our staff members are selected based on their qualifications, experience and enthusiasm.

All our staff all have:

  • Child Development Qualification
  • First Aid and CPR Qualifications
  • Certificate of Conduct (VOG)

A good staffing ratio is an essential ingredient to the quality of our summer camp. We have sufficient qualified staff members for the number of children to meet Dutch regulations.

Weekly Themes And Times

There are 4 different summer camp weeks, each with a different theme, which run consecutively from 16 July to 10 August.

Camp runs daily from 08:00 - 15:30

On Tuesdays and Thursdays we are able to offer additional child care hours from 15:30 - 18:30.

*Fun4Kids summer camp weeks qualify for the Dutch Childcare Allowance (Kinderopvang toeslag)
