Jolanda is an educational assistant. Before she began working at NAISR, she held a position as an educational assistant, library assistant, and tutor at the Cooperative Middle School in New Hampshire, USA. In her position, Jolanda gave individual support to students of all academic levels and to students with learning and behavioural challenges.
Although her priority was working as an educational assistant, Jolanda was also a partner in a clinic for Oriental Health and Wellness. In this clinic, she developed educational and public relations materials, consulted in nutrition and lifestyle coaching all according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Jolanda’s focus is being with children and adolescents, guiding and assisting them in their educational development and growth. She is dedicated to her work, is genuinely involved in the learning process of her students, has a natural affinity with children and can connect and empathise with their perception. Jolanda certainly has a sense of humor which students and colleagues appreciate.
In her personal time, Jolanda likes to read, walk, ride her bike and practice Qi-gong.
