Danielle is originally from Canada and has been teaching internationally for seven years. She has taught in her home country, South Korea, Austria and now calls the Netherlands home, having migrated to Holland in 2017.
Danielle has experience teaching and leading Fieldwork Education's IMYC and teaching the IB MYP. Under Danielle's leadership, the International School of Koje became the first-ever IMYC Accredited School and was accredited at Mastering-level. Prior to teaching internationally, Danielle spent six years developing curriculum and programmes to revitalize Indigenous languages at a provincial level in British Columbia.
This is Danielle's second year at NAISR and her first as Head of IMYC. She is keen to develop the IMYC further in the context of NAISR and to promote learning which supports the '5 Key Needs of the Adolescent Brain,' the scientific and educational research which underpins the IMYC.
