Jenna Diamond

Jenna Diamond

English & ToK Teacher

Jenna lived, studied and worked in beautiful, Cape Town, South Africa until the end of 2015. She studied at the University of Cape Town where she spent her time embracing a variety of humanities subjects. After many years of studying English literature, this passion culminated in the pursuit of learning to teach this beloved subject to secondary school students.

She has taught English, drama, art history and theory of knowledge at a variety of secondary schools across South Africa and has taught in both The Hague and Rotterdam in the Netherlands - this is her fourth year at NAISR.

She is an ardent lover of poetry and has published two autobiographical anthologies and writes a blog in her free time. Above all, she hopes to inspire her students to love and appreciate literature, while concurrently developing a strong sense of critical thinking when engaging with all manner of texts in the real world.
