Camilo Cárdenas is a Sculptor, Filmmaker and Educator from Colombia. He works across several mediums such as clay, wax and bronze casting. Recently his filmmaking has shifted heavily towards stop motion animation, a field that serves as bridge between the three dimensional world and the moving image.Camilo is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has been teaching in Boston and New York for the past four years. He currently lives in New York City and works at Children's Museum of the Arts.
Camilo works alongside Joe Vena and both are thrilled about their studio at WCLA as it provides, among other things, an excellent space for Creature Case, their joint venture, a versatile, animal-inspired sculpture service of sorts. Check it out at thecreaturecase.com!
