Sarah Halsall

Sarah

2s Teacher

Sarah has almost 20 years’ experience as an Early Years practitioner and leader. Sarah has worked across a variety of Early Years settings including the public and private sectors in the UK, and within large British international schools overseas. After a number of Early Years teaching experience, Sarah was promoted to ‘room leader’ and subsequently to nursery manager. Sarah successfully set up and led a nursery within a UK primary school frequently rated as “Outstanding” by OFSTED. Sarah has UK and international inspection experience as an Early Years practitioner, with her lessons always being judged as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. Sarah’s international experience included successfully leading a large Kindergarten Department in an international school comprising over 100 children and nine staff members through its’ British Overseas Inspection.

Although Sarah has specialized in the Early Years, she has experience of studying and working with children requiring additional and special education needs, including with the Open University. Sarah is a mother of five children and therefore brings a wealth of personal experience to our Early Years at NAISNY! Sarah is looking forward to sharing her experience and skills as she assists the 2s program for the remainder of the academic year before immersing herself back into an Early Years teaching position in the near future.
