Stacy Echavarria

Stacy profile

Stacy is a graduate of Manhattan College, with both a Masters in School Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. During her Bachelor’s degree, Stacy discovered her love of working with students. This led to her decision to pursue her school-counseling career. As a counselor in the educational system, Stacy has had the opportunity to impact students' lives in a positive way.

Stacy has worked as a Learning Assistant at NAISNY for almost 4 years. She has also worked as an after school counselor in a middle school and as an Intern, counseling High School seniors in the College Application process.

In NAISNY, Stacy has had the pleasure of building successful relationships with students as a learning assistant and by leading a phonics group using the Read Write Inc strategies.   She loves the feeling of being part of each students’ individual journey.
