Year 2 Class Teacher (2HP)

Heena has successfully completed a BSC in Psychology with Sociology and an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience. Her passion for working with children motivated her to complete a PGCE in Primary Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, England.

Heena’s teaching philosophy is based on providing children with the life skills to reach their full potential. To achieve this, Heena endeavours to create a stimulating learning environment which is interactive and inclusive of all learners.

Heena taught in Kent in England, for 3 years. During this time, she took on different roles; including Year Group Leader and coordinating Science, Phonics and GPAS across the school.  Heena particularly enjoyed her role as a Science Coordinator as she enjoyed planning events such as Science Week and conducting some exciting science experiments. She has also led many cross-curricular activities such as Yoga, Bollywood Dancing, Cooking and Early Reading.

In her personal life, Heena enjoys travelling and visiting new places. She has been fortunate to travel to many countries and enjoys learning about different cultures and traditions.
