Originally from Ireland, Monica moved to Wales to attend Aberystwyth University where she received a BA Honors in Education with Human Geography. Whilst at Aberystwyth, she completed a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course and received her qualification from Trinity College, London. Monica then spent her summers working for the British Council.
Following her time at Aberystwyth, Monica completed a PGCE in primary teaching in St. Mary’s University, London. She worked in a two form entry school in London for three years. During this time, she taught Years 3 and 4 and also coordinated PE. An extremely motivated person who always wants to better herself, Monica completed a Master’s Degree in Leading Innovation and Change.
When not working (or studying!), Monica loves to read and spend time with friends. She enjoys exercise and keeping fit. Monica has a passion for travelling as she loves to learn about other countries and their cultures. Having already travelled to many places on her travelling bucket list, Monica is enjoying visiting many more countries whilst in Singapore.
