You've Got a Friend: Video Clip Now Live

Culmination of two weeks of shooting, video clip shows dozens of students, staff and parents as they sing the birthday track 'You've Got a Friend'

  • 45 Year Celebration - You've Got a Friend

Dear DCIS Parent and Guardians,

We are pleased to announce that our celebratory 45th Anniversary video ‘You’ve Got a Friend’ is now up on youtube.

This video is the culmination of two weeks of shooting across our campus, with videographer Mark Lowther (who is also a DCIS parent) putting dozens of students, staff and parents into the final production as they all sang the birthday track 'You've Got a Friend', a song originally written and recorded in 1972 by James Taylor, the same year that DCIS was founded.

We have even included a drone shot with students and staff forming a giant 45 on our football pitch, a fitting end to the celebrations of this monumental milestone.

We would like to thank Mark as well as all students, staff and parents for their contributions to this amazing video clip for the 45th birthday of DCIS.

Mr. Andrew Marshall
Acting Deputy Head (Lower Primary)
