The Art department are ecstatic to announce that Daniel from IN has been awarded second prize in the National Very Special Arts competition with his painting 'Greg the zebra in space'
Daniel was awarded a DCIS certificate in recognition of his creative achievement - 2nd Place in the Youth Category of the National Very Special Arts competition.
Daniel will receive his VSA award at the VSA Art Competition Opening Ceremony which opens a 10-day long exhibition showcasing all the winning entries. The exhibition will be held at 'Forum the Shopping Mall' from 15th to 24th September 2017.
The objective of VSA Singapore is to enrich the life of people with disabilities and their communities. As the leading arts organisation for people with disabilities, VSA Singapore increases access to the arts for people with disabilities by working with schools and communities through programmes which provide for rehabilitation and social integration.
