Friday 11th May was a significant and emotional day at school as we wished our Year 11 students the best of luck with their upcoming exams and the next stages of their education.

During a special assembly on 11th May we celebrated the students’ time at DCIS and we enjoyed learning about their plans for the future. It was an important gathering for Year 11. Some of the students have been in our school since primary school and so it was a particularly proud and significant moment for those students, their parents and the teachers who have known them over many years. All of our Year 11 students are important members of our community and we shared many fond memories of the trips, activities and lessons we have enjoyed together.

Each student has been a valued and valuable member of our school community. For those who are moving on, we wish you all the best on your journey and for those who are continuing with us into the IBDP, we look forward to welcoming you back in the new term, but for now, we will all be focusing on the exams!

Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the DCA for giving each student a graduation jumper and to the parents for providing the delicious graduation cake. Thank you also to our facilities team and the catering team for their support and service of our Morning Tea Celebration.
