The students in 2MD and 2HP introduced Simba, from the Lion King, in their assembly this morning.

Simba is scared about growing up because he is afraid of getting things wrong. The children were able to explain that growing up is fun because you get bigger, you get braver and you get stronger. They sang ‘Hakuna Matata’ advising us not to be worried about growing up. The children encouraged everyone to think about what jobs they would like when they grow up. Some wanted to be doctors, some wanted to be teachers, some wanted to be actors and some wanted to be postmen.  The children in 2MD and 2HP ended their assembly with a song from Matilda ‘When I Grow Up’.

Well done to everyone who spoke, acted, sang and sang a solo! You were amazing!
