DCIS Year 6 Going Global Exit Point As part of their Going Global topic, the Year 6 students explored trade and tourism around the world.

As part of their Going Global topic, the Year 6 students explored trade and tourism around the world.

The students used the opportunity to develop their collaboration, enquiry and creativity skills by creating their own Fairtrade businesses. The children were first tasked with finding an item that was not fairtrade but they felt should be. They were given a S$100,000 budget to purchase items that would help them advertise such as business cards, posters and TV adverts. Each group had to prepare a pitch and were faced with some tough questions by each other and Mr Marshall.

The competition was incredible and the children really took to the challenge, exploring their strengths and working as a team.

Great work Year 6!
