Dover Court Year 10 - Football Coach Education

We are pleased to have partnered with the British Football Academy Singapore, to introduce Football Coach Education to a group of our Year 10 students.

  • Dover Court International School Singapore Year 10 coaching with British Football Academy
  • Dover Court International School Singapore Year 10 coaching with British Football Academy
  • Dover Court International School Singapore Year 10 coaching with British Football Academy

Run by coach Mark Davis, the students experience classroom based, as well as practical sessions, learning what it takes to be a good coach. The students are taught how to set up sessions, what makes a good warm up and football coaching skills.

The seven week course will lead to the Dover Court Year 10 students leading and coaching a session for a Primary school class. Learning how to coach empowers the students, builds on their confidence and encourages them to take responsibilites; building skills that will be useful throughout life. We also hope that this will lead to some of our students pursuing a coaching route in the future!
