Although Erin thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working in the US, she realized she was missing something she had always enjoyed: travel. She then decided to pack up and move to Thailand. Teaching English in rural Thailand was an entirely different world that brought brand new obstacles to overcome.
She moved to Singapore in August 2014, teaching for a reading program. She soon realized that position was not for her after experiencing the lack of individualized instruction.
When she heard about the opportunity to teach at Dover Court she was thrilled to take advantage of it. Dover Court appealed to her because of the genuine atmosphere of the teachers and students. She appreciates how the focus of the school aligns with her own goals of supporting each student individually. The students and staff are truly a pleasure to work with here at Dover Court.
She was born and raised in a small city in Michigan, USA and truly enjoys Singapore because of its access to cultural diversity and wide range of travel destinations. She enjoys exercise in many different forms and exploring new places. Her favourite activity when she's in a new area is eating. Singapore is a great facilitator of her curiosity for food.
