Harriet Slator

Harriet Slator

Secondary School Geography Teacher, Form Tutor 10HS

Harriet gained her BA Geography degree at Durham University, where she specialised in Human Geography. Following this, she moved back to Sydney, Australia to coach rowing for a year before returning to the UK to complete her PGCE in Secondary Geography at University College London.

Harriet joined Dover Court following teaching for three years in South-West London. Having grown up around the world, living in the UK, Australia and Japan, teaching geography was a natural fit, enabling her to share her passion for the world around us.

Her love of travel and culture means she regularly enjoys making the most of exploring the world, and is often found somewhere new during the holidays, most recently exploring all that Zimbabwe, New York and Berlin has to offer.

Outside of travel and geography, Harriet enjoys being active, she is a qualified Alpine Ski Leader, having taken previous school groups to a number of resorts in the Alps. As well as skiing, her hobbies include rowing, playing netball and running, having recently completed the London Marathon and the Manchester Marathon; she hopes to acclimatise to the Singapore climate and sign up to many more challenges!
